The Land Disputes Courts (Extension of Appellate and Revisional Jurisdiction) (Revocation) Order, 2025

1. This Order may be cited as the Land Disputes (Extension of Appellate and Revisional Courts Jurisdiction) (Revocation) Order, 2025. Revocation of Order GN. No. 802 of 2018

2. The Land Disputes Courts (Extension of Appellate and Revisional Jurisdiction) Order, 2018 is hereby revoked. Savings

3.-(1) Notwithstanding the revocation under rule 2, all matters assigned to a resident magistrate with extended jurisdiction before the date of this Order and all proceedings pending before a resident magistrate with extended jurisdiction on the date of this Order, shall be continued and concluded as if this Order had not been made. (2) Except where the Court of Appeal expressly orders otherwise, all matters entertained by a resident magistrate with extended jurisdiction before the date of this Order which the Court of Appeal orders to be heard afresh, shall be heard afresh by a resident magistrate with extended jurisdiction as if this Order had not been made.
