The Lindi Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (“Lindi WSSA”) Cesspit Emptying and Sewage Disposal) (Provisional Tariff) Order, 2022

1. This Order may be cited as the Lindi Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (“Lindi WSSA”) Cesspit Emptying and Sewage Disposal) (Provisional Tariff) Order, 2022. Tariffs and charges

2. Lindi WSSA cesspit emptying and sewage disposal charges are hereby provided as specified in the Schedule to this Order. Conditions

3. The approved tariff shall be subject to the following conditions: (a) on or before 30thJune 2022, Lindi WSSA shall apply for a multiyear tariff adjustment that will include a proposal for sanitation charges based on cost of services derived from approved business plan; and (b) Lindi WSSA shall continue to provide EWURA with information about its financial and operating condition in accordance with the requirements of EWURA. This information will be used by EWURA to evaluate Lindi WSSA's performance in comparison with other Water Supply and Sanitation Authorities and the improvement in its performance over time.
