1. This Notice may be cited as The Forest (Kilinga Forest Reserve) Declaration Notice, 2019. Declaration

2. The area of general land within the limits and boundaries defined in the Schedule to this Notice is hereby proposed to be declared as Kilinga Forest Reserve. Purpose

3. The Purposes for which Kilinga Forest Reserve is proposed to be declared are: (a) to protect the threatened area of forest land which is recognized for its high biodiversity value, with unique flora and fauna, including endangered species of plants and animals, some of which are threatened with extinction; and (b) to attain the intended management purposes, conservation of the forest land and wise use of forest resources in the forest area. Period of Time

4. This Notice will be valid for ninety (90) days from the date of publication within which any person or group of persons or a representative thereof may in writing: (a) object to; (b) make representations; or (c) claim any rights based on and or arising out of customary law in relation to land or forest produce or any rights based on any other law within the area the subject of the proposed declaration of a nature forest reserve. 1 Forest (Kilinga Forest Reserve) Declaration GN.
