These Rules may be cited as the Petroleum

These Rules may be cited as the Petroleum (Pipeline Operations) (Amendment) Rules, 2022.

1. These Rules may be cited as the Petroleum (Pipeline Operations) (Amendment) Rules, 2022 and shall be read as one with the Petroleum (Pipeline Operations) Rules, 2015 hereinafter referred to as the “principal Rules”. Addition of rule 47A

If an agreement sets special arrangements for certain rules and the Cabinet has approved that arrangement, those rules must not be applied in a way that prejudices the agreement’s terms and conditions.

47A. Where an agreement provides for special the implementation of rules 4(2)(i), 7, 10, 12, 19(3), 22, 24, (25)(s) 27, 32, 40 and 42, the said arrangement has been and approved by the Cabinet, the application of the provisions of the rules shall not prejudice the terms and conditions of such agreement.”.
