The Urban Planning (Ligera Planning Area) Order 2022

1. This Order may be cited as the Urban Planning (Ligera Planning Area) Order, 2022. Declaration of planning area Cap. 355

2. The area described in the Schedule to this Order is hereby declared to be a planning area for the purposes of the Urban Planning Act. Scheme of scheduled area

3. General and detailed schemes for the scheduled area shall be prepared and deposited with the Director of Urban Planning and Namtumbo District Executive Director. 1 GN. NO.298 (Contd.) Urban Planning (Ligera Planning Area) ________ SCHEDULE _______ The planning area is contained in the following boundaries: (Made under paragraph 2) “Commencing at Ligera river at a point with coordinates E180906.063, N8793131.597, thence, boundary moves to Southwards direction along Ligera river for a distance of 10.749 kilometres to a point with coordinates E180612.796, N8783449.233, thence to North East direction along Lukimwa river for a distance of 13.528 kilometres to a point with coordinates E188611.469, N8791852.096, thence in North-West direction on a bearing N70051’54’’W for a distance of 5.145 kilometres, thence in South-West direction on a bearing S81051’20”W for a distance of 2.873 kilometres to the point of commencement. ”.
