The Forest (Kambikatoto II Forest Reserve) (Declaration) Notice 2021

1. This Notice may be cited as the Forest (Kambikatoto II Forest Reserve) (Declaration) Notice, 2021. Area proposed to be declared

2. The area of general land within the limits and boundaries defined in the Schedule of Map No. Jb 3015 of 2020 (Scale 1:100000) attached to this Notice is hereby proposed to be declared as Kambikatoto II Forest Reserve. Purposes of declaration

3. The purposes for which Kambikatoto II Forest is proposed to be declared as Kambikatoto II Forest Reserve are- (a) to protect the threatened area of tropical lowland forest which is recognized for its high biodiversity value with unique flora and fauna, including endangered species of plants and animals, some of which are threatened with extinction; and (b) to attain the intended management purposes, conservation of the forest land and wise use of forest resources in the forest area. Validity of Notice

4. This Notice shall be valid for ninety days from the date of publication within which any person or group of persons or a representative thereof may in writing- (a) object to; (b) make representations about; or 1 Forest (Kambikatoto II Forest Reserve) (Declaration) GN. (c) claim, any rights based on and or arising out of customary law in relation to land or forest produce or any rights based on any other law within the area the subject of the proposed declaration of Kambikatoto II Forest Reserve.
