Statute overview

About this statute

This schedule defines “member” as a member of the Board, including the Chairman, unless the context requires otherwise. This section sets who sits on the Board, who appoints them, when a seat becomes vacant, and that members serve part-time with remuneration set by the Minister. Every Board member continues in office until the appointment is revoked or the office becomes vacant for the reasons listed elsewhere. The Board must choose one of its members to serve as Vice chairman for one year, starting from the date of election. The Director General must serve as the Secretary of the Board.
