About this statute
The Board must include a Chairman appointed by the President and between six and ten other members appointed by the Minister. Board members must elect a Vice-Chairman from among themselves. A Board member serves for the period set by the appointing authority, unless the appointment ends sooner or the member stops holding office; a member may resign by written notice to the appointing authority. The Board must appoint a suitable person to serve as the Board Secretary. If a member cannot attend a meeting, the Board or Minister that member represents may nominate another person in writing to attend in the member’s place.
