About this statute

The Minister appoints the eleven Council members, including specified roles such as the Chairman, Secretary/Executive Officer, and other named representatives. A Council member appointed under paragraph I holds office for three years and may be re-appointed. A person stops being a Council member if any listed condition occurs, including three unexplained consecutive absences, leaving the appointing office, written resignation, death, mental disorder, or terminal illness. Replacement should be done promptly. The Council must meet at least four times a year. A meeting of the Council has quorum when two thirds of all members are present.
