127.–(1) Notwithstanding the repeal of the Pharmaceuticals and Poisons Act and the Food (Control of Quality) Act any subsidiary legislation, licence, certificate and any other administrative order, direction or instruction made, given or issued under or in pursuance of the provisions of the respective Acts which are in force on the commencement of this Act, shall be deemed to have been made, given or issued under or in pursuance of the provisions of this Act, and shall remain in force until revoked, replaced or rescinded by subsidiary legislation, licence, certificate or any administrative order, directions or instruction made or issued under this Act. (2) All officers appointed pursuant to the Food (Control of Quality) Act or the Pharmaceuticals and Poisons Act to perform functions in relation to food and drugs, shall continue to perform those functions in so far as this Act relates to them, unless their appointments are revoked or their appointment cancelled and shall for that purpose, be deemed to be inspector appointed under this Act.
