Statute overview
About this statute
This Schedule continues to have effect even if the Board of Trustees is dissolved. Land and objects previously vested in the Board of Trustees under the repealed National Museum Act are transferred to the Board. Assets and liabilities covered by this section pass to the Board, and the Board may take the steps needed to possess, recover, deal with them, and discharge those liabilities, subject to paragraph 2. The Board of Trustees must hand over its movable property and records to the Board, or as the Board directs. Agreements the Board of Trustees was party to before the Act starts continue in force as if the Board were the party, subject to paragraph 6.
