About this statute

This section gives the Act its short title: the International Development Association Act. This section defines “Agreement,” “Association,” and “Minister” for the Act, unless the context otherwise requires. The Government’s acceptance of the Agreement is approved, and the Minister must signify that acceptance on behalf of the Government. Section 4 sets when the later parts of the section start, lets the Minister issue certain obligations and raise loans, and gives the Association tax and customs-duty immunity with stated limits.
