This section gives the Act’s short title: it may be cited as the Fire and Rescue Force Act. This Act applies to Mainland Tanzania. This section defines key terms used in the Act. This section establishes the Fire and Rescue Force for Mainland Tanzania and sets out who makes up the Force and who may determine certain appointments and designations.
