About this statute
This section sets the Board’s membership and says the Nomination Committee, President, and Minister must consider specified qualifications when proposing people for Chairman or Board membership. Board members are appointed for fixed terms, may be re-appointed once, and any member may resign by written notice to the appointing authority. The Board must appoint a lawyer with at least ten years’ experience as Secretary of the Board. The Board must meet at least four times a year, follow notice and quorum rules, and the Chairman or Vice Chairman can convene meetings in specified cases. Minutes of each Board meeting must be kept in proper form and confirmed by the Board at its next meeting.
