About this statute
This Schedule defines “appointing authority” for different Public Procurement Appeals Authority offices. This section sets the terms for appointing, reappointing, extending, terminating, and resigning Appeals Authority officeholders. The Chairman, or the Executive Secretary if the Chairman cannot act, must convene hearings and special meetings of the Appeals Authority and send notice at least two full working days before a hearing. The Appeals Authority must conduct dispute or complaint proceedings under the rules made under this Act. This section sets quorum and meeting procedures for the Appeals Authority, including how to choose an acting chairman and how decisions and dissents are recorded.
