國家安全局組織法

This provision states that the law is enacted on the basis of Article 2 of the Additional Articles of the Constitution and Article 8 of the National Security Council Organization Act.

This provision says the law takes effect on the date it is promulgated.

國家安全局負責統籌國家安全情報工作與特種勤務，並可另定相關運作與安全維護辦法。

本局設一名局長與三名副局長，並規定其職務層級或可任用身分。

The bureau has a chief secretary post graded at senior civil service levels 13 to 14 or lieutenant general rank.

本局在因情報或特勤工作需要時，可以設置必要的內部單位。

This bureau’s ranks, job grades, and staffing levels are to be set separately in the establishment table.

本局在辦理情報或特勤工作相關事項時，可以設置駐外單位，或派員在境外辦事。

本局得以兵役人員充任執行營區安全、情報及特勤任務所需的基層事務人力，並可會同相關部會辦理。

本局的預算要列入其他政府機關並接受立法院審查；機密預算部分須以機密方式處理。
