總統、副總統應依本條例規定宣誓。 總統、副總統應在總統就職之日宣誓。 副總統誓詞要求就任時向全國人民宣誓，承諾遵守憲法並效忠國家。 總統、副總統應在中央政府所在地，以公開儀式分別宣誓，並由大法官會議主席監誓。 總統、副總統宣誓時，須按規定肅立、舉右手並宣讀誓詞。
