勳章條例

符合條件者可以被授予勳章；為敦睦邦交，也可以授予外國人勳章。

Certain medals are worn with specified sashes, and some are distinguished by rank using different sash types; the medal design and illustration follow the annex.

卿雲勳章及景星勳章按勳績分等授予：一等由總統親授，其餘等級由主管院或該管長官授予；受勳人在外國時，也可由使領館授予，且授勳時應附發證書。

A person cannot be awarded two kinds of medals at the same time.

勳績的審核由稽勳委員會辦理；但總統特別贈予或特別授予的案件，不在此限。

陸海空軍軍人的授勳事項，另由法律規定。

因犯罪被褫奪公權的人，應繳回勳章及證書。

本條例的施行細則，由內政部、外交部、僑務委員會及銓敘部會同訂定。

本條例自公布日起施行。

This provision lists five types of medals.

The President wears the 采玉大勳章, which may be specially bestowed on foreign heads of state and delivered by a special envoy.

符合列舉勳勞之一者，可以授予中山勳章，並由總統親自頒授。

符合列舉勳勞之一的人，可以被授予中正勳章，並由總統親自頒授。

具備列舉勳勞之一的公務人員，得授予卿雲勳章或景星勳章。

Non-civil servants who meet one of the listed meritorious-deed grounds may be awarded the Chiang Yun Medal or the Ching Hsing Medal.

Foreigners who have one of the listed merits may be awarded the Cloud Medal or the Bright Star Medal.

對於前三條未列舉、但確應授予勳章的人，也可以比照前三條辦理。
