宣誓條例

本條例所列公職人員的宣誓，原則上依本條例辦理，但法律另有規定的，從其規定。

本條列出兩類人員的誓詞內容，要求其宣誓遵守憲法或國家法令，忠於職守，不徇私舞弊，不收賄，也不得濫用公帑或人員。

誓詞應由宣誓人簽名蓋章後，送交監誓人所屬機關存查。

公職人員未依本條例規定宣誓，會被視同未就職；在特定情形下也可能被視同缺額或辭職。

If a person who has sworn an oath breaks it, they are to be punished more severely under law.
