About this statute

Citizen judges and reserve citizen judges who refuse to swear an oath may be fined up to NT$30,000. The same applies if a reserve citizen judge is substituted in as a citizen judge and then refuses to take the separate oath. A citizen judge or alternate citizen judge who, without a justifiable reason, misses trial or final deliberation, or a citizen judge who refuses to state or otherwise perform duties at final deliberation, may be fined up to NT$30,000. 國民法官和備位國民法官若違反審判長維持秩序的命令,並經制止仍不聽,可能被處新臺幣三萬元以下罰鍰。 國民法官法庭的三名法官,負責合議裁定前四條所涉及的罰鍰處分;前項裁定可以抗告。 國民參與審判制度成效評估期間,自中華民國一百十二年一月一日起算六年;必要時,司法院可以延長或縮短這段期間。
