內政部警政署保安警察總隊組織通則

This rule says the regulation is made under Article 5 of the National Police Agency Organization Act.

保安警察總隊負責多項保安、警戒、海關安全與勤務管理事項，且其設立需由內政部警政署層報行政院核定；各總隊名稱前並應加註隊次。

保安警察總隊得視業務需要設置若干單位。

保安警察總隊的編制人數與職等配置，並限制部分組員職務列等的比例上限。

保安警察總隊得設醫務室，並負責保健與醫護事項。

保安警察總隊應設人事室，並在各總隊核定員額內派充所需工作人員。

保安警察總隊應設會計室，並置會計主任一人；會計主任負責歲計、會計並兼辦統計事項，所需工作人員應在各總隊所定員額內派充。

保安警察總隊得依勤務需要設置3至12個大隊，每個大隊設3至5個中隊，並須經內政部警政署層報行政院核定。

保安警察總隊可以設警官隊，但要由內政部警政署層報行政院核定；警官隊的編制、員額與職等也有明確限制。
