內政部警政署鐵路警察局組織條例

本條規定本局設置刑事警察隊，並列明隊長、副隊長、各組長、組員、巡官、警務佐、小隊長、偵查員及書記等編制與職務列等。

本局設置護車隊，並配置隊長、副隊長、分隊長、小隊長、警員及書記等職務名額。

This provision sets job-series selection rules for certain ranked personnel, fixes the number of police grade-four positions for specified investigators and police officers, and allows certain existing railway police employees without civil-service qualification to keep occupying clerk vacancies until they leave office.

本局應擬訂本局辦事細則，並層請內政部核定。

本條例的施行日期由行政院以命令訂定。

鐵路警察局負責鐵路設施防護、沿線與站車秩序、犯罪偵防及旅客貨運安全維護等事項；執行鐵路法令職務時，受交通部臺灣鐵路管理局指揮監督。
