中央選舉委員會組織法

This provision establishes the Central Election Commission.

符合條件的現職人員，可以繼續留任原職稱、原官等的職務，直到離職為止。

This provision says certain committee members and inspectors appointed before the law took effect are treated as having their term ended when the Article 3 appointment date arrives after commencement.

本法的施行日期由行政院 تعیین。

本會負責統籌、辦理、監督與相關法規建議，涉及選舉、罷免、公民投票、選區劃分、監察事務，以及政黨和候選人競選費用補貼。

This provision sets the membership, appointment, term, and removal rules for the commission’s chair, vice chair, and members.

主任委員不能行使職權時，由副主任委員代理；如果主任委員和副主任委員都不能行使職權，則由其他委員互推一人代理主任委員。

本會依法獨立行使職權；本會委員應保持超出黨派，並在任職期間不得參加政黨活動。

This provision says certain election, recall, and referendum matters must be decided by the Commission’s committee meeting.

This provision sets meeting rules for the committee: monthly meetings, who convenes and chairs them, quorum and voting thresholds, and how dissenting opinions and invited attendees are handled.

本會應設主任秘書，該職務列簡任第十二職等。

本會為辦理選舉業務，得在直轄市及縣（市）設立選舉委員會；其組織由命令規定。
