原住民族委員會組織法

行政院為統合原住民族政策、保障原住民族權益並辦理原住民族業務，設立原住民族委員會。

本會負責處理多項原住民族相關事項，包括政策、教育、文化、健康、社福、工作與就業、經濟、土地資源及其他相關事項。

本會應設主任委員1人及副主任委員3人；其中主任委員由山地原住民與平地原住民輪流擔任，且副主任委員中的部分職位須由山地原住民或平地原住民擔任。

本條規定本會委員的人數、任期、提名方式，以及委員中原住民族身分比例要求。

本會設主任秘書，且該職務列為簡任第十二職等。

This provision sets staffing grades and headcount by a separate staffing table, requires indigenous representation of at least 60% for certain rank groups, and says shortfalls are to be made up after non-indigenous civil servant vacancies arise.

The commencement date of this Act is set by the Executive Yuan by order, and amended provisions take effect on the date of promulgation.
