國民大會代表立法院立法委員選舉補充條例

If a district or organization cannot hold an election, it may carry out the election procedures in a nearby area or a designated place. The upper election authority sets the time and date by order, and the candidate registration signature requirement for the second item may be reduced to at least 50 people.

各上級選舉機關可指定前條所稱的鄰近區域或指定處所，並須報選舉總事務所備案。

If an area cannot conduct an election, the competent election authority in an area that can conduct it must handle the part that cannot be carried out. If a county or city competent election authority has not yet been legally established, the election affairs may be handled by the superior election authority.

全國合選的名額不適用本條例，改依選舉罷免法產生；職業團體或婦女團體會員參加全國合選或劃區分選時，須持會員證或其他證明文件向所在地選舉機關申請登記。

When all areas can legally hold elections, each area or organization formed by administrative district must conduct a general election under the applicable election and recall law, and the National Government sets the election date by order.

This provision says the ordinance takes effect on the date it is promulgated.
