國葬法

符合條件的中華民國國民，身故後得依本法規定舉行國葬。

首都所在地市政府可辦理國葬墓園的管理與警衛等事宜。

國葬原則上應葬於國葬墓園；如果要改在別處安葬，須經行政院核准，並由國葬受領者之家屬領費自行安葬，但仍要在國葬墓園內立碑記。

國葬要先經行政院會議以全體委員無記名投票過半數同意，並由總統以命令公布。

國葬費用經行政院核定後，由國庫支給。

辦理國葬時，應設立國葬典禮辦事處；其組織通則由內政部擬訂，並呈請行政院核定。

On the day of a state funeral, the President sends staff to pay respects, and flags are flown at half-mast nationwide in mourning.

內政部應會同首都所在地市政府，在首都選定地點設置國葬墓園，並報請行政院核定。

國葬墓園內應設祭堂，並由總統在每年民族掃墓節派員致祭。
