縣參議員選舉條例

A county citizen who is at least 25 and passes the county councillor candidate test or screening may be elected as a county councillor.

職業團體分配縣參議員名額時，總額不得超過十分之三，並要按會員多寡分配；每單位至少分配一名。

Only people who meet the stated membership and work-experience conditions may participate in the occupational election.

縣政府要編定各團體選舉人名簿，送選舉監督核定，並在選舉前 15 天公告。

This provision sets different election methods for occupational associations, including indirect elections, direct elections, and exceptions for single-association counties.

這條規定不同選舉方式下的當選標準：初選人、直接選舉者以得票較多者當選；複選者以初選人過半數投票者當選；若無人當選，應再選，並以得票較多者當選。

縣政府要在各團體會所設置投票所，並指定事務主任、事務員及監察員；監察員人數為每所三至五人。

縣政府應在選舉前二十日以前公告職業選舉應出的縣參議員名額，並製作選舉票分發出去。

投票時，除投票人和投票所職員外，其他人不得進入投票場所。

Certain public officials, active military or police, and current students lose the right to be elected; the first-category restriction does not apply to principals of schools at any level.

When the county government checks election results, the election supervisor or their representative must be present to observe.

A ballot is invalid if it is written improperly, has other writing on it, is too unclear to read, or is written on ballot paper that was not issued for elections.

Elected persons are limited to the citizens or members described for each type of election.

候補當選人依得票次多數者定之；若票數相同，則以抽籤決定。

縣參議員的選舉，由民政廳廳長擔任選舉監督。

If any listed condition occurs, the election is invalid.

If an election is ruled invalid by a court, a new election must be held within 10 days.

Election lawsuits must be tried before other lawsuits and concluded in a single instance.

本條例的解釋權屬於選舉監督。

縣政府須在選舉結束後十日內，向選舉監督報告當選人、候補當選人姓名及選舉經過情形，並保存有效與無效選舉票六個月。

Provincially administered city councilor elections follow the rules of this ordinance mutatis mutandis.

Certain people must choose and notify the county government which election they will participate in, and the county government must announce the voter-register compilation date 10 days in advance.

This provision says the act’s effective date will be set by order.
