鄉鎮民代表選舉條例

A county citizen aged 25 or older who passes the township representative candidate test may be elected as a township council representative.

選舉結束後，鄉鎮公所應指導保長整理當選資料並送報，鄉鎮長再彙報縣政府，縣長則確認當選與候補當選人後公布並通知。

當選人收到通知書後，應在3日內答覆是否願意當選；逾期未簽覆，視為願意當選。

If the elected person agrees to serve, the county government must compile the person’s name and report it to the provincial government for recordation.

縣政府發給當選人證書，式樣依附表規定。

This provision says the regulation’s effective date will be set by order.

列舉的人員停止被選舉權；第一款限制不適用於各級學校校長。

各保保長須在本保召集保民大會，舉行鄉鎮民代表選舉。

本鄉鎮公所指導各保保長辦理選舉事務。

鄉鎮長應在選舉前五日，於各該保辦公處公告各保的選舉日期及時間。

Township offices must prepare, stamp, and distribute ballots; voters must sign the elector register before ballots are issued.

Elections use a secret ballot, single-mark format.

投票完成後，應立即在現場開票。

當選人以票數較多者定之；票數相同時，以抽籤決定。
