全民國防教育法

This provision states that the law is enacted to promote national defense education, improve public defense knowledge and awareness, strengthen national defense development, and ensure national security.

各級主管機關應配合動員演習，規劃辦理相關教育活動或課程，並在動員演習時配合實施全民國防教育。

各級主管機關應管理具全民國防教育功能的軍事遺址、博物館、紀念館及其他文化場所，並加強相關文物的蒐集、研究、解說與保護；實施辦法由行政院文化建設委員會會同教育部及中央主管機關訂定。

政府機關、學校和事業單位的人員如果參加全民國防教育，應給予公假。

各級主管機關及目的事業主管機關必須編列經費，推行全民國防教育相關事項。

對在全民國防教育工作有傑出貢獻的機關、團體或個人，應給予適當獎勵；獎勵辦法由中央主管機關訂定。

本法在公布後一年內施行。

This article defines which authorities are the competent authority under the Act and assigns related matters to the relevant purpose-industry competent authority.

中央主管機關負責全民國防教育相關法規、政策、研究發展、工作策劃考核、獎助評鑑、人員培訓與全國性宣導推展。

直轄市、縣（市）主管機關負責轄區內全民國防教育事項。

This article defines “全民國防教育” and says it is generally implemented on an ongoing basis.

行政院應訂定全民國防教育日，並舉辦相關活動。

各級學校應推動全民國防教育，必要時納入課程，並實施多元教學活動；課程內容與實施辦法由教育部會同中央主管機關訂定。

Government agencies and institutions must regularly provide all-hands national defense education to their staff, based on the nature of their work.

各級主管機關及目的事業主管機關應製作全民國防教育影片、錄影節目帶或文宣資料，並透過大眾傳播媒體播放或刊載。
