煤業安定基金條例

This provision says a fund is created by levying a charge on imported energy to finance miners’ retraining support and severance subsidies.

本條例所稱主管機關是財政部。

This provision defines “imported energy” to include coal, crude oil, fuel oil, and nuclear fuel.

經政府核准、專以投資國外天然資源探勘、開發或加工並運回國內的事業，其進口能源仍要依本條例徵收基金。

Imported energy is levied a fund charge at 0.5% of the customs dutiable price.

Funds collected under this provision must be deposited into the Taiwan Area Coal Industry Rationalization Fund special account through the budget procedure and used only for the purposes stated in Article 1.

依本條例徵收基金的期限為六年。

本條例自公布日起施行。
