中華民國五十六年度愛國公債發行條例

The issuance of the 1967 patriotic bonds is to be handled under this act.

本公債利息免納所得稅。

The rules for this public bond matter are to be prescribed separately.

本條例自公布日起施行。

This provision sets the bond amount at NT$500 million, to be issued at full face value within fiscal year 56, and lets the Executive Yuan set the issue date.

This provision says the bond has five face-value denominations in New Taiwan dollars and is issued as bearer form.

The public bond interest rate is 4% per year.

The public bond has a 12-year repayment term. For the first 2 years, only interest is paid every 6 months; after that, principal and interest are repaid every 6 months over 10 years, in 20 installments.

公債債票如果遺失、被盜或滅失，不能辦理掛失止付。

本公債還本付息基金應按年列入國家總預算，並預期撥交經理銀行儲存備付。

本公債的募集、銷售及還本付息，由中央銀行經理。

本公債可以自由買賣、質押，並可作為公務上的保證及金融業的保證準備金。
