日據時代株式會社台灣銀行海外分支機構存款及匯款處理條例

This article states that the statute is enacted to handle deposits and remittances of the overseas branches of the Taiwan Bank from the Japanese era, with the government temporarily advancing the repayment.

海外分支機構的存款按本條規定比照辦理；其墊款總金額要併入第三條的三十億元限額內。

當申請登記墊還的存款與匯款總金額超過新臺幣三十億元時，應依下列上限比例分配墊還。

This provision says the条例 takes effect from the date it is published.

本條例的主管機關是財政部。

政府只能先行墊還符合範圍的存款及匯款，且總額不得超過新台幣三十億元。

持有特定存款或匯款單據的中華民國國民，可以在主管機關公告日起三個月內申請登記；逾期不受理。審核確認後，由政府一次墊還。

主管機關應邀集相關機關、學者專家及社會公正人士組成專案小組，辦理前條的審核確認工作。

政府墊還存款及匯款時，原則上按原幣金額的六十倍折算成新台幣辦理；每筆代墊金額上限為新台幣一千萬元。

主管機關在本條例施行後，應就申請墊還登記相關事宜，分別在電子及平面媒體公告，並明確列出所需證明文件或表格。

主管機關可指定國營金融機構先行代墊本條例所需支付金額，代墊款連同利息再分年歸還；政府先行墊付款也應積極向日方求償。

If an applicant’s submitted passbook, deposit certificate, or remittance receipt is forged or altered, it must be handled according to law.
