利率管理條例

Interest rate management is governed by this Act.

銀錢業的存款利率不得高於放款利率；當地同業公會要依市場情況逐日擬定放款利率最高限度，並報請中央銀行核定後牌告實施。

未設中央銀行施行之銀錢業放款利率時，以距離最近地方之中央銀行牌告作為標準。

If a loan interest rate exceeds the central bank’s quoted daily overnight limit, the creditor has no right to claim the excess amount.

銀錢業以外的金錢債務，約定利率不得高於訂約時當地中央銀行核定的放款日拆；超過的部分，債權人無請求權。

If a money debt bears interest but the interest rate was not agreed, the creditor may demand calculation using the locally approved lending rate method.

This provision says the statute takes effect on the date it is promulgated.
