文化部為辦理臺灣自然史與文化史相關業務，設立國立臺灣博物館。 本館負責管理、推動並辦理列出的自然史與文化史相關業務。 本館設館長1人與副館長1人，並分別列簡任第十二職等及簡任第十一職等；必要時，兩職可依規定資格比照聘任。 The grades, ranks, and number of positions are to be set out in an establishment table. 本法的施行日期由行政院以命令 तय定。
