高級中等以下學校學生及教保服務機構幼兒團體保險條例

This provision says the statute is enacted to protect students and young children in early secondary education and below, and to reduce families’ financial burden from accidents and disease.

保險費由主管機關補助三分之一；被保險人或法定代理人每年分兩次在註冊或其他指定程序時繳納。未具學籍的交換學生可以選擇參加，但保險費要全額自付。

符合本條條件的被保險人，由要保單位審核證明文件、造冊送保險人彙計，再報主管機關給予全額保險費補助，且不受前條第一項限制。

本保險通常每次期間為一年，原則上要配合學年起訖；應屆畢業生可延長到8月31日。相關效力起訖、身分變動銜接及要保單位應辦事項，由中央主管機關訂定辦法。

保險人原則上要在保險金額範圍內，對因疾病或意外事故而死亡、失能、受傷或需要治療的被保險人給付保險；但一定年齡以上者，只限因意外事故所致。
