中華經濟研究院設置條例

This provision establishes the China Economic Research Institute to strengthen domestic, international, and specific-region economic research.

捐助人應依本條例及相關法律規定，訂定本院捐助章程。

If the institution can no longer achieve the purpose of the regulation because circumstances have changed, it may be dissolved by a board resolution unless another law provides otherwise.

This provision sets the foundation’s capital at NT$1 billion, funded by NT$900 million from the central government and the U.S.-China Economic and Social Development Fund over multiple years, with the remaining NT$100 million to be donated by the business community.

This provision lists the institution’s funding sources: investment income from its establishment fund, government donations, income from commissioned research and services, and donations from domestic or foreign public or private organizations, groups, or individuals.

The institution must have a board with 11 to 15 directors; 5 are appointed and the rest are elected.

董事由行政院院長先行聘任；首屆董事也是由行政院院長聘任，任期三年，期滿或出缺時再由董事會選任。

董事會應置常務董事五至七人；常務董事互選董事長。董事長任期與選任董事相同，並可連選連任。

董事會負責聘任一名院長及一至二名副院長；院長受董事會監督並綜理院務，副院長襄理院務。

本院要在年度開始前編預算、年度終了後編決算，並由董事會審查核定後報主管機關；行政院還要把預算送立法院、決算送監察院。
