商標審查官資格條例

This provision says the regulation is made under Trademark Act Article 39, and any matters not covered here follow the Civil Service Appointment Act and other relevant laws.

商標審查官分為商標高級審查官、商標審查官及商標助理審查官。

商標高級審查官必須符合列出的資格條件。

Trademark examiners must meet one of the listed qualification requirements. Some pre-existing staff with five years of trademark examination work may temporarily act as a trademark examiner once they obtain the required grade qualification.

商標助理審查官必須符合公務人員任用法第九條規定，並具薦任第六職等任用資格。

商標審查官和商標助理審查官在本條例施行前於商標審查機關的相關工作年資，可以依規定計入其任職年資。

This provision defines what counts as completing the required professional training, and says that this training cannot replace the Examination Yuan’s promotion-grade training when advancing in rank.

This provision says the regulation takes effect on the date it is promulgated.
