交通部高雄港務局組織條例

本局人員的任用原則上適用交通事業人員任用條例；人事、會計、政風人員另依相關任用法律，醫事人員依醫事人員人事條例進用，原依公務人員任用法任用的現職人員可沿用原規定至離職。

本局有權設置若干管理、工程與修造機構，並可在所轄輔助港及其他施工地點設置分局、工程處或辦事處。

本局辦事細則由本局擬訂，並報請交通部核定。

本條例的施行日期由行政院以命令決定。

本局負責辦理港灣、船舶監理、港埠營運、工程、設備維護、研究法制、勞安環保、訓練、土地運用及其他局務事項。

本局可以設置八組，並可分科辦理業務；各組分別負責前條列出的事項。

本局設資訊室，負責資訊業務的整體規劃、設計、協調與推動，以及電腦設備的操作、管理與維護；並得分科辦事。

本局設秘書室，負責研考、議事、公共關係、檔案、印信、出納、事務管理、財產管理及其他未屬於各組、室的事項，並可分科辦事。

本局設一名局長負責綜理局務並指揮監督所屬員工，另設一名副局長協助處理局務。

本局應設港務長一人及副港務長一人。

本局應設置一名總工程司，負責統籌工務事項；並設置一名副總工程司協助其工作。

This provision sets staffing numbers and certain job assignments for the bureau, and lets some pre-existing employees and crew keep their original posts under transitional rules.
