國家運輸安全調查委員會組織法

行政院設立國家運輸安全調查委員會，負責獨立、公正調查航空、鐵道、水路及公路的重大運輸事故。

本法修正施行前已聘兼的飛航安全調查委員會委員，在修正施行後、依第三條規定完成委員任命之日，視為任期屆滿。

本法的施行日期由行政院以命令 تعیین。

本會負責重大運輸事故相關的通報處理、調查、原因鑑定、報告與改善建議，也負責趨勢分析、研究、法令擬訂修正廢止，以及國內外組織協調聯繫。

This article sets up the commission’s membership, appointment process, term rules, eligibility, dismissal grounds, and conflict-of-interest restrictions.

主任委員出缺或無法行使職權時，由副主任委員代理；如果主任委員和副主任委員都出缺或無法行使職權，由行政院院長指定一名委員代理主任委員。

The committee must decide specified matters, including reviews of major transport accident reports, re-investigation, related regulations, coordination mechanisms, annual budgets and final accounts, member proposals, and other matters required by law.

The committee meets once a month, is convened by the chair, and is generally not public.

The commission has a chief secretary, and the post is graded at Senior Rank 11.

本會得依相關聘用規定聘用專業人員；前項人員離職後三年內，不得擔任其離職前五年內曾調查或處理的交通運輸營利事業特定職務。

本會各職稱的官等、職等與員額，另以編制表定之。
