戡亂時期郵電抽查條例

This provision says that, during the period of civil disorder, postal and telecommunications inspections are carried out to prevent emergency danger and maintain social order, and in martial-law areas they are handled under Martial Law Act Article 11(4).

When intelligence indicates postal/telegraph inspection is necessary, the listed military commands must coordinate with the local highest administrative authority and obtain approval through the superior pacification/anti-bandit channel and the Executive Yuan before carrying it out.

經行政院核准執行抽查任務的軍政機關，應把奉准文件抄送當地郵電兩局；行政院並應隨時通知交通部轉飭當地郵電兩局洽辦。

郵電抽查的範圍包括防止軍事機密外洩，以及檢查涉及擾亂金融、非法交易、造謠惑眾、擾亂治安、破壞軍事或危害國家的電信與刊物。

施檢單位 must send postal publications that violate any item of Article 4 to the local competent authority for handling.

If inspection personnel violate this regulation, the victim may report it to the competent authority for lawful handling.

郵電兩局在依情報抽查郵電時，負有保守秘密的義務。

This provision says the ordinance takes effect on the date it is promulgated.
