Statute overview

About this statute

Certain ships must install meteorological instruments, and when sailing in Taiwan’s exclusive economic zone they must promptly provide weather observation data to the Central Weather Bureau. Civil aircraft flying through the Taipei Flight Information Region must provide in-flight weather observation data to the Civil Aeronautics Administration, which must then immediately send it to the Central Weather Bureau.
