財團法人國家衛生研究院設置條例

This provision states that, to strengthen medical and health research and improve national health and welfare, the National Health Research Institutes is established and this statute is enacted.

董事會應設五名常務董事；董事長當然是常務董事，其餘由董事互選，且可連選連任。

董事會任命院長；院長提請董事會任命副院長。院長受董事會指揮監督並綜理院務，副院長襄理院務。

本院應設置九至十七名諮詢委員，任期三年，由董事會遴聘。

本院董事、董事長及諮詢委員是無給職；相關組織編制與專任人員人事待遇辦法，須先經董事會通過，再報主管機關核定。

本院在業務需要且經董事會通過後，可以在國內醫藥衛生相關研究機構設立分支研究單位。

本院應在年度開始前擬定工作計畫及收支預算，並在年度終了後編具工作執行成果及收支決算；之後先經董事會通過，再陳報主管機關，由主管機關報請行政院轉送立法院審查。

本院的捐助章程，須依本條例及相關法律訂定。

When the institution can no longer achieve its purpose because circumstances have changed, it may be dissolved by a board resolution or by a competent authority’s declaration.

本院為財團法人，設置時依本條例辦理；本條例沒有規定的部分，改依其他法律。

行政院院長負責聘任董事，並限於就行政院衛生署署長及其他有關機關首長中聘任。

董事的首屆由行政院院長選任；任滿或出缺時，由董事會選任。董事任期三年，且連任者不得超過總人數三分之二。

董事會應設董事長一人及執行秘書一人；董事長由行政院院長聘任，執行秘書由董事會聘任。
