公共場所母乳哺育條例

This provision states the purpose of the article: to protect women’s right to breastfeed in public places and to provide a barrier-free breastfeeding environment for women who wish to breastfeed.

違反檢查、抽查配合義務或未提供必要協助的，會被罰鍰；未把哺（集）乳室設成獨立空間的，主管機關應先勸導並命限期改善，逾期未改善可再罰。

本條例規定的罰鍰，由直轄市、縣（市）主管機關處罰。

Certain public places that must provide a nursing/lactation room must finish setting it up within one year after this law takes effect.

本條例自公布日開始施行。

本條定義「主管機關」：中央為衛生福利部，直轄市為直轄市政府，縣（市）為縣（市）政府。

本條在定義「母乳哺育」：婦女以乳房哺餵嬰幼兒，或收集母乳再哺餵嬰幼兒，都屬於此詞所指的行為。

Women breastfeeding in public places may not be prohibited, removed, or interfered with by anyone.

Certain public places must provide a lactation room for public use and display it clearly; some listed trains are excluded, and the central competent authority may approve an exception.

Large outdoor activities must have a temporary breastfeeding facility, and the competent authority sets the activity standards.

直轄市及縣（市）主管機關應檢查或抽查公共場所建築物內的哺（集）乳室及其設備。

各級主管機關應積極宣導母乳哺育觀念，並可以和民間團體合作辦理。

哺（集）乳室應設為獨立空間，不得與其他空間共同使用。

A person who prohibits, removes, or obstructs a woman breastfeeding in a public place may be fined NT$6,000 to NT$30,000.

違反哺（集）乳室設置或標示規定時，地方主管機關應先勸導並命限期改善；逾期未改善者，會被處新臺幣2萬元以上10萬元以下罰鍰，且可按次處罰。
