中央廣播電臺設置條例

This provision establishes the Central Broadcasting Station and states that it is responsible for transmitting national news and information.

董事會負責處理並決定本臺的營運、預算、人事、規章、組織設置與其他依法應由董事會處理的事項。

監事會負責監督業務與財務狀況，並審核決算表冊。

董事、監事原則上是無給職；但在開會時，可以酌支交通費。

本臺應設總臺長1人、副總臺長2人或3人；任期3年，期滿可續聘1次。總臺長受董事會指揮監督並綜理臺務，副總臺長協助總臺長辦理臺務。

The organization’s staffing/organizational structure is approved by the board and then submitted to the competent authority for approval.

本臺的會計年度必須與政府會計年度一致。

本臺在會計年度開始前要先訂工作計畫並編列預算，經董事會通過後報主管機關辦理；會計年度終了時要將工作成果與收支決算，經監事會通過後報主管機關辦理。

捐助人應依本條例及相關法律擬訂本臺捐助章程，並報請主管機關核定。

本臺在情勢變更且已不能達成本條例設置目的時，可以解散；解散後要依法清算，剩餘財產歸中央政府。

本條例的施行日期由行政院決定。

本臺的設置依本條例規定辦理。

本條指定行政院新聞局為本臺的主管機關。

本臺的任務是向國外地區和大陸地區傳播新聞及資訊。

This provision says the station was established through a donation of state-owned property used by Overseas Department of China Broadcasting Co. and the former Central Broadcasting Station, following the statutory budget procedure.

本臺應設董事會與監事會，並分別配置指定人數的董事和監事。

主管機關負責從指定類別的人選中遴聘董事、監事；遴聘辦法另定。

董事、監事任期三年，期滿可以續聘一次；符合特定情況時應解聘，由主管機關補聘缺額，補聘者只任原任者剩餘任期。
