About this statute
Audit personnel appointments are governed by this Act, and any matters not covered by this Act follow the Civil Service Appointment Act. This provision defines “audit personnel” as several specified audit-related roles. 副審計長任用人員時，應選任具備列明資格且具擬任職務任用資格者；若有兩名副審計長，其中一人須由第一款資格者擔任。 審計官只能任用具備法定資格、且符合擬任職務任用資格的人員。 審計、稽察、審計員、稽察員只有在具備任用資格並符合各自列出的資格條件時，才可任用。
