About this statute
Creates a presidential standard for the President; its design is determined by the Cabinet; the President may decide other uses of the standard except as provided. Acts done in respect of the presidential standard that would be offences under the National Flag and Armorial Ensigns Act are offences against the presidential standard. Provisions of the National Flag and Armorial Ensigns Act concerning insults, unauthorised use of the national flag or armorial ensigns, and making regulations apply to the presidential standard as if the presidential standard were mentioned in that Act.
