About this statute
There shall be a public seal displaying the armorial ensigns of Uganda circumscribed with the words "Republic of Uganda". The custody of the public seal is assigned to a Minister who must countersign any document to which the public seal is affixed. Existing instruments lawfully sealed before this Act began remain valid and are not affected by this Act.
