About this statute
Articles 22, 23, 24 and 27–40 of the Vienna Convention have the force of law in Uganda; references to "receiving State" in those articles are to be read as references to the Republic of Uganda. The President may make regulations, by statutory instrument, extending immunities and privileges granted to diplomatic agents to prescribed organisations and representatives, subject to prescribed conditions and limitations.
