About this statute
Defines “Authority” as the Uganda Tea Authority and “Minister” as the Minister responsible for agriculture. The Minister must, on the coming into force of the Act, appoint a liquidator to dissolve the Authority; the liquidator's appointment must be on terms and conditions the Minister may determine in the instrument of appointment. The liquidator must receive all the assets of the Authority. The Uganda Tea Authority Act, Cap. 36 (Revised Edition, 2000) is repealed.
