Section 11-99A-27 Dissolution and Liquidation.
If the district has no outstanding assessments and has paid its debt, the board may recommend dissolution and liquidation, and the council may declare the district dissolved. After a dissolution resolution, the board must distribute the district’s property, and the district then ceases to exist.
